Pastor Samuel Jeske

Samuel Jeske was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In 2009, Sam began his pastoral training at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, graduating in 2013 with his bachelor’s degree in biblical languages and pre-seminary studies. Sam then moved to Asia and served as a Christian missionary for two years. While in Asia, he had the opportunity to travel to China, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines.

He returned to America in 2015 to begin his masters program at the Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He did his Vicar residency program at Faith Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg, GA - a suburb of Atlanta. In spring of 2019, he received his Masters of Divinity and his first pastoral assignment to Our Shepherd here in Crown Point.

Sam likes meeting new people, traveling, bookbinding, reading, going to concerts, studying Chinese, watching movies and tv shows, and playing board games. He is a multi-instrumentalist, and has a love for music and using music to enrich worship.

Pastor Jeske is passionate about evangelism and outreach - engaging the communities of the Region with the good news of Jesus and sharing the peace and joy we have forever in him.
