The recent disasters in Texas and Florida have left many homeless, without power or facing expenses they cannot pay.  If you wish to help out financially and to be assured that 100% of what you give goes to what you intended, you may give through our WELS Committee on Relief.  Gifts may be given to Our Shepherd and marked for the Committee on Relief.  All the funds will be sent to help those in need via direct gifts, workers and supplies.

A new season of Dartball has begun! You don’t know what dartball is?  Dartball is a game of darts thrown at a board that looks like a baseball diamond.  The thrower gets “hits” and “runs” just like a batter in baseball. Two teams battle it out for nine innings just like in baseball. Rookies and pros alike are welcome to join us on Tuesday evenings at 7pm for a game or two of dartball.

New bowlers are welcomed to join the WELS Belles and Beaus bowling league! We bowl at STARDUST LANES in Dyer, Indiana and they have plenty of space for us to add full teams, couples and singles. The league begins Sunday, September 17 and meets every other Sunday night at 5 PM for 16 weeks. We sport 8+ teams that includes Trinity, Zion and Our Shepherd members. If you cannot commit to a full season, but would like to join the fun, sign up as a sub bowler. Contact the church office or call Steve Johns (708) 672-8659. Come for fun and fellowship! WELS Belles & Beaus - It's where your friends are!
We are once again having our Thursday evening services.  These services are the same as the upcoming Sunday service and are an opportunity to join us for worship even if you are unable to make it Sunday morning.
Retired? Have days free? Looking for some fellowship?  Join us here at the church on the second Friday of each month for a time of fellowship and getting to know one another. It will be a time for games, devotions, prayers and other activities that help pass the time and encourage one another. The church will be open at 12:30 PM on these days. It is also a good time to bring a friend to help them meet our members and learn more about God’s grace.

In Bible Class we are studying the Book of ActsIt covers the work of the Apostles as they carried out Christ’s command to spread the Gospel message.
